This policy describes how the Thrive Hive Counseling website (thrivehivecounseling.com) handles visitor information. It does not replace the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices you receive as a client, which governs how we handle your protected health information.

Analytics

We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not store your IP address. It is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR by design.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies or use tracking pixels.

Embedded Content

Our site embeds a Google Maps widget in the footer to help you find our office. When this map loads, your browser connects to Google's servers, which are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Forms and Data Collection

This website does not contain data collection forms. Our contact page provides phone, text, and email options to reach our intake coordinator directly. All appointment booking, intake paperwork, and client communication is handled through SimplePractice, a separate HIPAA-compliant electronic health records platform, which existing clients access via the Client Portal.

Hosting

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type) as part of their infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.

Clinical Privacy (HIPAA)

All clinical data — including scheduling, session notes, billing, and telehealth — is managed through SimplePractice, a HIPAA-compliant platform. SimplePractice maintains a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Thrive Hive Counseling and follows strict security standards to protect your health information.

As a client, you receive our full HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices during intake. This notice explains your rights regarding your protected health information, including how it is used, disclosed, and safeguarded.
