About Allison

I am a board-certified Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with experience supporting a wide variety of clients, including teens, adults, families, couples, and parents. I have a particular passion for working with mother–daughter relationships and helping clients strengthen connection, communication, and understanding within these bonds.

My approach is client-centered and strength-based, grounded in the belief that you are the expert in your own life. I see my role as a supportive guide, helping you navigate your healing journey with curiosity and compassion. As we work together to uncover your truth, my hope is that you feel more empowered and confident in creating a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. In addition to a strength-based, client-centered framework, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, relational therapy, and mindfulness practices to support meaningful and lasting change.

I am a therapist because I deeply believe in this work. I connect with the concept of the “wounded healer,” and I value how my own life experiences have shaped my ability to understand and support others. I encourage my clients to discover what brings them joy and to approach themselves with kindness, both inside and outside of therapy.
